In the third and final episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Porsha's Having a Baby on Sunday night, we saw Porsha Williams deliver her daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley — and we got to see that beautiful baby's face for the first time since her birth! When Porsha sat down with The Daily Dish podcast recently, she explained her and fiancé Dennis McKinley's decision to show Pilar's face on TV.
"So her face was shown when they came right to my house," Porsha said. "Now that, I have to say, I had some reservations about, because they were like, you know, we want to film right when she comes out. And I was like, 'OK,' you know me, I'm real transparent, like OK. And then you start getting real protective, like, I don't know if I want her on the show. And I just decided to go ahead and show the whole experience because people have been so supportive, from back when I told people that I had dealt with fibroids and had a miscarriage to now, and I just didn't want to cheat people of the rest of the journey. And I feel like honestly when I meet my fans, they feel like I'm their sister, cousin, etc., and that this is their niece and that they want to see her."
Porsha also revealed whether she and Dennis have agreed to allow Pilar to be featured on RHOA going forward.
"I think that that would have been a bigger discussion if we didn't do the baby special," Porsha said. "I think because we already filmed her birth, I mean, how much [more] in depth can you get than that? ... I think because we already filmed her on the baby special that it will be a natural transition to go ahead and let her be seen on Housewives."
