Phaedra Parks Is Following in the Footsteps of Ariana Madix and Teresa Giudice
RHOA's Phaedra Parks is dusting off her dancing shoes for her newest career move.
Phaedra Parks is dancing her way to her next career move, as the attorney and mortician was just announced to be a cast member on Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars.
The mom of two (who is also returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16) will be pairing up with Valentin "Val" Chmerkovskiy on DWTS' 2024 season.
After the announcement was made, Val took to Instagram to share his thoughts about working with the RHOA cast member. "So excited for my new partner," he wrote in the caption of his co-post with Phaedra.
Once the news broke about Phaedra, several other Bravolebrities celebrated her career accomplishment in the comments section.
"This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time. Congratulations I’m so happy for you," Phaedra's Traitors Season 2 castmate Tamra Judge wrote.
"Congratulations," Phaedra's fellow RHOA peach holder Shamea Morton wrote, while Porsha Williams added, "Love this ... So excited!!" and alum Marlo Hampton commented several dancing woman emojis.
RHONJ's Jennifer Aydin also wrote "Yes" along with three fire emojis as well.
Who is in the DWTS Season 33 cast?
Phaedra will be competing alongside fellow reality TV cast members Joey Graziadei, Jenn Tran, and Tori Spelling in addition to Olympic athletes Ilona Maher and Stephen Nedoroscik; Super Bowl Champion Danny Amendola, NBA player Dwight Howard; actors Eric Roberts, Chandler Kinney, and Reginald VelJohnson; model Brooks Nader; and "notorious ankle bracelet fashionista" Anna Delvey, per a press release.
Phaedra isn't the first Bravolebrity to take on the dancing gig, though.
Which Bravolebs have competed on DWTS?
Bravo's Lisa Vanderpump, Teresa Giudice, Ariana Madix, Erika Jayne, Kim Zolciak, Lisa Rinna, and Mauricio Umansky have all previously competed on Dancing with the Stars.
Phaedra Parks' recent career milestones
In addition to DWTS, Phaedra confirmed that she was returning to RHOA on Instagram back in July.
"You called," she wrote alongside a photo of her holding a peach. "I answered."
Phaedra previously appeared on Seasons 3 through 10 of the series. Following her time on RHOA, Phaedra popped up on Season 2 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She also competed on Season 2 of The Traitors, and she was a cast member on Season 10 of Married to Medicine.
Outside of her small screen work, Phaedra has been celebrating other accomplishments as well. She delivered the commencement speech for her law school alma mater, the University of Georgia School of Law, back in May 2024.
“Saturday was one of the best days of my life!” Phaedra wrote on Instagram on May 20. “As the [President] of [UGA] Law school alumni association, I had the pleasure of welcoming our 2024 graduates to our alumni family! I love my UGA [hashtag] 4thgeneration. Go DAWGS!”
Fast-forward to mid-August, and Phaedra sent her sons Dylan and Ayden Nida off for their first days of school.
Now, Phaedra is getting ready to dust off her dancing shoes.
