Nearly five years after tying the knot with Brittany Pattakos Nassif, the SoCal plastic surgeon confirmed he and his wife were expecting their second child together. The couple dropped the exciting news via Instagram on Saturday (July 13), when they shared the exact moment they learned the baby’s sex.

The Reel showed the husband and wife standing against an ocean backdrop alongside Gavin, Christian, and Collin Nassif— Paul's adult sons he shares with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof. As Brittany looked on from the side, the Nassif men each set off a handheld popper that exploded with blue powder.
“SURPRISE! We’re having a… BOY!!!!” they captioned the July 13 video. “We can’t wait to meet you & we love you so much already, Baby Nassif!”
The post garnered more than 42,000 “likes” and over 1,000 comments from fans, friends, and several Bravolebrities, including RHOBH alum Taylor Armstrong, and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge.

Brittany Pattakos reveals her expected due month
Brittany returned to Instagram several hours later to share her July 12 sonogram. The home decor specialist reiterated her excitement and revealed the baby's expected due month, which indicated she was about three months pregnant.
“My little baby boy coming in January,” she captioned the post. “We’re so excited to meet you!”

Paul married Brittany in October 2019, about seven years after he and Adrienne finalized their divorce. A year following their nuptials, the newlyweds welcomed their first child together, an adorable baby girl named Paulina.
“Yesterday morning at 7:42 a.m., we welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby girl Paulina Anne Nassif into the world,” the couple told People magazine on October 13, 2020. “Paulina is already a living, breathing extension of our hearts and the love we have for her is absolutely unbelievable! She truly is a blessing, especially during such a tough year. Thank you all for your love and support and coming along with us on this this journey… We’ll continue to keep you posted every step of the way, but for now we need some rest!”

Months before his daughter’s arrival, Paul shared his sons’ reactions to Brittany’s pregnancy news.
“The kids are very excited to have a little sister,” he told The Daily Dish in July 2020. “I’m obviously excited because I want a little girl. They were very happy for us. And honestly, I think they expected it ‘cause they kept saying like, ‘You pregnant yet?’ So, they’re excited to have a little baby sister.”
And how did Adrienne respond?
“I kind of haven’t really discussed that with her,” Paul said. “I mean she knows, obviously. She said ‘congratulations’ to both of us. So, I think a ‘congratulations’ is probably a good thing to say. But I haven’t really discussed.”
