Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif have a friendship that goes way back. And we mean way back.
The plastic surgeons reportedly met 25 years ago, more than a decade before their respective Bravo debuts. Paul was introduced to the network in 2010 as the then-husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Adrienne Maloof. Terry entered the Bravo-verse about two years later when his spouse, Heather Dubrow, joined Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Needless to say, a lot has changed since then. Terry and Heather have since relocated from the OC to Beverly Hills, and Paul married Brittany Pattakos about six years after he and Adrienne finalized their divorce. Despite all life’s twists and turns, the doctors have maintained a close bond with one another and even secured co-starring roles in a plastic surgery reality series.

Of course, Heather has also remained friends with her hubby’s bestie/colleague; but where does Terry stand with Paul’s ex-wife? Well, it appears they’re on great terms.

On Monday, February 26, Heather shared an Instagram photo of her and Terry hanging out with Adrienne at the Cameo Beverly Hills Hotel. The trio was dressed to the nines as they celebrated Niecy Nash’s 54th birthday in the hotel’s Starlight Room.
“Always fun running into old friends,” Heather captioned a Story of her, Terry, and Adrienne.
The OC ’Wife shared more looks at the party in an Instagram carousel, which showed her and Terry posing with the guest of honor as well as other celebrity attendees, including actress/singer Marla Gibbs; as well as Pol’Atteu and Patrik Simpson who were joined by their dog, Snow White
“Had the BEST time celebrating [Niecy Nash’s] birthday over the weekend!!!” Heather captioned the post. “You know I love a good party and [Dr. Dubrow] … well- I guess you can say he loves a good puppy. Such a fun night and it’s always a good time running into old and new friends.”
Adrienne also shared photos of her, Heather, and Terry at the star-studded event: “So many incredible people at [Niecy Nash’s] birthday celebration,” she wrote on Instagram. “We had so much fun.”
How did Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif meet?
Terry and Paul reflected on their bond in a 2019 interview with Page Six, revealing it was Paul’s family who sparked the decades-long friendship.
“1999 when I opened up my office in Beverly Hills, I got a call from my sister and my mom,” Paul told the outlet. “They go, ‘We met this funny — funny back then, 20 years ago — Dr. Terry Dubrow in Newport Beach.’ So he actually met my family, especially loved my mom.”
Paul said his family insisted he meet his fellow plastic surgeon, and they immediately became friends.
“After meeting the mom and the sister, I thought I got to meet this guy. They’re so nice,” Terry said. “And then unfortunately you know it didn’t cross the gender lines. The male wasn’t that good.”
