Padma Lakshmi poked a little fun at The New Yorker after the magazine's Instagram account seemingly confused her with Priyanka Chopra.

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

The Top Chef host shared a screenshot of a photo of herself on The New Yorker's Instagram account that the actress appeared to be tagged in by mistake. "Thank you to the illustrious '@nydailynews' for the shoutout," Padma joked, intentionally writing the wrong publication's name. "I know to some we all look alike, but [shrug emoji]... #desilife #justindianthings."

The New Yorker appears to have deleted the original post after realizing the gaffe.

Padma got support from some of her famous friends in the comments to the post on Instagram, including Natalie Portman, Michelle Lee, Kristen Kish, and Justin Mikita.

We'll catch up more with Padma when Top Chef returns for Season 17 on Thursday, March 19 at 10/9c. Check out the all-star cheftestants, below.
