Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgard Couldn't Keep Their Eyes, Lips, Hands Off Each Other at the Emmys
This fictional Big Little Lies couple showed PDA in real life.
Alexander Skarsgard just snagged an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in Big Little Lies, but the aftershow buzz is all about a big little kiss.
His onscreen wife Nicole Kidman leapt to her feet and gave him a smooch on the lips when his win was announced. Her real husband Keith Urban was there too, and he looked on approvingly.
The lovefest continued backstage, where they smiled fondly at each other and seemed attached at the hip.
It's a happy, stark contrast from their domestic violence-laden scenes on the series, which Skarsgard said he hated acting out.
"They're horrible scenes to shoot," he told Vulture. "It wasn't like you could just shake it off and go home."
Their co-star Reese Witherspoon hinted on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that viewers may not have seen the last of the series, even though it ended where the book it was based on concluded.
