Sonja Morgan Compared New Housewife Leah McSweeney to a "Rash" and Now We Know Why

Sonja Morgan definitely has a way with words, as we've come to learn time and time again on The Real Housewives of New York City. And now she's causing a stir with her latest comments about new RHONY castmate Leah McSweeney.

During an interview with DailyMailTV earlier this month, Sonja had a, shall we say, interesting way of describing the newest New York Housewife. "I always say Ramona [Singer]'s an itch I can't scratch," Sonja said. "This girl's like a rash... the new girl."

"Well, you're going to see a lot this season about what I have to say about Miss Leah, but one thing I can say she's a bona fide New Yorker," Sonja continued. "This girl is tried-and-true a real New Yorker."

We have to admit, we're not really sure what Sonja meant there, although it doesn't exactly sound flattering. Luckily, Sonja appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home just in the nick of time on April 9 and was able to explain her comments about Leah via video chat.

"Well, because people kept asking about the new girl, and I didn't want to give any spoilers," Sonja clarified. "People know I love Ramona like a sister, so she's an itch I can't really scratch. So I said, you know what, Leah comes on like a rash. Trust me. Truth."

Well, when you put it that way, it sounds a little bit more like a compliment, although we don't understand it much better, to be honest. Andy Cohen also appeared to furrow his brow during Sonja's explanation, making it seem like it didn't do a whole lot to clear up her comments, either. 

We guess all that really matters is what Leah thinks of what Sonja said, and we eagerly await her reaction.
