Nene Leakes Called This Housewife After Walking off the RHOA Reunion

There's one part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 12 reunion still left to air, and we've already been treated to two — count 'em — two walk-offs from none other than Nene Leakes.

Nene closed her computer during Part 1 of the reunion after Kenya Moore confronted her about her comments questioning the validity of her marriage to Marc Daly, even showing off her marriage certificate as evidence. Nene eventually returned to the reunion, but she would step away again after an intense exchange with Kandi Burruss. By the end of Part 2 of the reunion, it was unclear if Nene would rejoin the Georgia Peaches for its conclusion.

Nene explained why she felt the need to walk off the reunion during a recent interview with ET. "The whole reunion is just Nene. What did you think about part one? Were they asking the questions to anyone besides Nene?" she said. "It's Nene, honey. Nene, Nene... to the point where I said to Andy [Cohen], 'Is there anybody else here, honey? Do you have any questions for anyone else here besides just Nene?'"

The RHOA OG revealed that she actually ended up chatting with Porsha Williams during her first walk-off, and the two gave each other a virtual high five over how they were reading their fellow cast members during the reunion. "When I closed the computer and they ended up going to lunch break, I called Porsha. That was the first time we talked about it," Nene shared. "I called her and I said, 'Porsha, I gotta tell you, girl, you are in there, you are killing it. When we go back, you just sit back and be quiet and let me take it from there.' We decided we're gonna tag team their a** and let's go! And I think the people were here for the tag team."

Nene had more to say about what inspired her walk-offs in a post on Instagram that was published on May 17, the night Part 2 of the RHOA reunion aired. "It only felt right to personally REMOVE MYSELF from the reunion!" Nene began her note. "So much had happened this season!"

Nene went to say that even though there was a lot of other drama this season, such as The Cookie Lady, Kenya and Porsha's relationship issues, and Snakegate, she still felt like she was the one being grilled at the reunion. "All this and so much more felt like the rules only applied to me and that I was being held to a different standard than others," Nene said in the post. "But you continue to be the judge."
