Margaret Josephs Explains Her Anger: "You've Got This Story All Wrong"
The RHONJ cast member opened up about her argument with Jackie Goldschneider.
Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider are very close friends, so it was surprising to see the ladies get into a heated argument on the March 31 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They weighed in on the drama in The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show, which you can catch a look at in the above clip.
During the After Show, Jackie explained that she felt Margaret was “suddenly turning” on her, but the Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget podcaster clarified that was absolutely not her intention.
“Jackie doesn’t understand what happened. She doesn’t even understand why Joe [Benigno] was even talking about [the rumor] with the guys, and I was like, “I know you’re kidding me, right? Of course they’re f—king talking about it.’ What do you think, my husband just brought it up?” Margaret said. “So then I got upset with Jackie. I was like, ‘What are you talking about? You don’t even understand. I would never.’”
Margaret went on to explain that she was “so upset” when Jackie claimed she would never speak to Joe again. “I will defend you to the core, what are you talking about?” she added. “She didn’t realize what was going on but I got very upset with her, so I was like, you got this story all wrong. I have your back to the end and so does my husband.”
Joe also weighed in on the drama, adding, “I think that Jackie’s a great girl. I love her. She’s great. And she’s a good friend. She’s great friends with Margaret. I’m good friends with Evan. And I don’t want anything to come between our families and our friendship. So any miscommunications were ideas that she had that were really from another planet.”
Margaret continued to explain the situation on Twitter, noting, “My husband and the men did not want to hurt Jackie with a bad game of telephone.” She also further explained her reaction, saying, “I was mad because they strictly brought up guys night to hurt Jackie and that is exactly what happened.”
In an Instagram post prior to the episode, Margaret shared some love for her husband. Alongside a sweet selfie of the pair enjoying some time outdoors, she wrote, “You can’t have the rainbow without the storm.”
