Malia White Is Doing Something for the Very First Time in Her Yachting Career
The Below Deck Med bosun gives a look at her latest yachting milestone.
Malia White is making some major moves in her yachting career.
The Below Deck Mediterranean bosun revealed her latest gig in the maritime industry in a post on Instagram on April 15. The post features a photo of a smiling Malia in the bridge while at the helm of a vessel, which is tagged on the Atlantic Ocean. "Happy to be doing my first Atlantic Crossing!" Malia wrote in the caption to the pic.
Captain Sandy Yawn gave Malia some major props in the comments section of her Instagram post. "Proud of you!" the Below Deck Med captain applauded Malia.
We sometimes hear about crossings on the various Below Deck franchises. Most recently, in Season 5 of Below Deck Med, deckhand Rob Westergaard considered taking part in a crossing, which caused some drama with Jess More as the charter season came to an end. Rob ultimately decided not to do the crossing and stick to his original plan of traveling to Bali with Jess after the season ended instead.
Malia gave us a greater glimpse into her experience crossing the Atlantic in her Instagram Story, and she seems to be loving the experience.
Prior to the crossing, Malia had been working on a yacht in the Caribbean, which included driving the tender, hanging out with some stingrays, and squeezing in workouts in the engine room.
And when she gets the chance to have a day off, well, let's just say Malia makes leisure time look very good.
