Luann de Lesseps Confirms She's Been in a Secret Relationship for More Than a Year
"I just wasn't sure where it was going," the RHONY performer said about boyfriend Rich Super.
Luann de Lesseps has found love again... and she did more than a year ago, but has kept the relationship a secret until now.
Luann is dating her her touring agent, Rich Super, and became romantically involved with him when she started touring for her #CountessandFriends cabaret show, which he works on with her.
"I just wasn't sure where it was going, so I didn't really talk about it," The Real Housewives of New York City cabaret singer told ET. "He’s very supportive and he’s just a great touring agent. He’s got really great clients, [internet celebrity] Randy Rainbow being one of them and [Long Island Medium's] Theresa Caputo, who does her live shows. So he’s a great guy and I’m lucky."
He's based on the West Coast and she's clearly an NYC girl, so the romance is long distance at the moment. "It's a bit of back and forth," she said. "We're dating; it's really nice."
Luann didn't jump into her romance with Rich, but instead eased into it given they also work together. "Believe me, it wasn't easy," she said. "I was like, 'No, that's not happening,' and then, he just wore me out … and then it just turned into a really great working relationship, as well as a romantic one. So far, so good."
As for how her kids, Victoria and Noel de Lesseps, feel about her new man, she says they approve. "Yes, he does [have their approval]," she said. "That's big."
She also confirmed that while she's in no rush to marry again, she hasn't ruled anything out, which mirrored a sentiment she's previously shared with The Daily Dish.
"You know what? Never say never! Why wouldn't I?" she said earlier this year. "Life is a cabaret and filled with adventure. I'm the kind of girl that hops on the train instead of waiting for the next one. And I feel like a lot of opportunities in my life have happened because I'm that kind of girl. Look, you can always go home and I feel more comfortable taking adventures then I do safe. So, girls, don't be safe. Get out there and be adventurous."
