Lisa Vanderpump: Teresa Is a Wonderful Mother
The 'RHOBH' star sends love to her fellow Housewife.
No East Coast/West Coast beef here! Lisa Vanderpump is sending support out to Teresa Giudice.
With the Real Housewives of New Jersey star just months away from beginning her sentence for fraud, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has some kind words for her East Coast counterpart.
"I have a lot of empathy for her situation as regarding her children and the family, because I know she's absolutely a wonderful mother," Lisa told E! News. "She worships the children, so I do feel sorry for her about that, I really do."
In October, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to several counts of fraud back in March. Her her husband Joe was sentenced to to 41 months in federal prison. The RHONJ star will serve her term at a facility in Danbury, Conn., the same one that inspired the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black.
"Unfortunately, you know, actions have consequences and I don't know exactly what went down, but I know certainly, just from one Housewife to another, I send her love and support, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," Lisa added. "I think she'll come through it, the other side. I guess we have to learn a lesson. But she'll come through it stronger than ever."
Earlier this month, financial guru Suze Orman addressed Teresa's legal woes, noting there's a thing or two women can learn from her missteps.
"It's a prime example for women, that if they don’t think the behaviors of somebody that they are involved with financially speaking is going to affect them, I’m here to tell them they’d better watch what’s happening," she told the New York Daily News.
