What Does Suze Orman Think of Teresa's Legal Woes?
The financial guru has some advice for women everywhere.
Financial guru Suze Orman knows the ins-and-outs of the American financial system and has made a career out of sharing her savvy investment advice to millions. Turns out, she has her own take on Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice's current legal woes.
"It's a prime example for women, that if they don’t think the behaviors of somebody that they are involved with financially speaking is going to affect them, I’m here to tell them they’d better watch what’s happening," she told the New York Daily News.
In October, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to several counts of fraud back in March. Her husband Joe was sentenced to to 41 months in federal prison.
Earlier this year, Teresa sat down with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, where she opened up about her very public legal issues. "I am not crawling under a rock and hiding," she said. "That's not me. I am still going to be the person who I am today and the day I go to court, when we resolve this, everyone will see who Joe and I really are. I am not just running away."
She's also been open about the support she's received from her family, including her daughter Gia. "She was being strong for me, I could tell. She said, 'Mommy, don't worry about it," Teresa told Andy Cohen in an exclusive interview. "'I'll be there. I'll help daddy with the girls. That will make me a better mom. That'll prepare me for when I'm a mom.'"
