Katie Maloney-Schwartz Speaks out on Lisa Vanderpump's Treatment of Kristen Doute: "It's Time to Let That Go"
Why is there still tension between Lisa Vanderpump and Kristen Doute after all these years?
Kristen Doute's relationship with Lisa Vanderpump hasn't exactly been great since she was fired from SUR back in Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. You know, after she told SUR manager Diana to "suck a dick" during the "Miami Girl" incident?
However, Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Stassi Schroeder think it's high time for Lisa to forgive and forget when it comes to Kristen. The Vanderpump Rules ladies defended their good friend when they appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Monday night, saying that they don't think Lisa is being fair in her treatment of Kristen, which you can check out in the above video.
Katie argued that not only did Lisa's tension with Kristen start "a long time ago," but she has also since taken responsibility for her mistakes time and time again. "Kristen has apologized and tried to make nice with her and apologize to her over and over, so I think it's time to let that go," Katie said of Lisa and Kristen's drama on WWHL.
Stassi added that there doesn't seem to be any reason for Lisa to continue to not get along with Kristen. "It doesn't make sense anymore," she said on WWHL. "I don't understand where it's coming from."
The tension between these two appeared to be alive and well this season of Vanderpump Rules when Lisa told Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz to disinvite Kristen from The Daily Mail party at Tom Tom earlier this season. Kristen was upset and disappointed when she was asked to not attend the festivities. "I've definitely had a few incidents throughout the years, but that was forever ago," Kristen said of the continued hostility with Lisa during an interview this season of Vanderpump Rules. "Lisa, you do so many wonderful things in this world, but you hold onto that as your hobby? Like, try knitting."
