Lisa Vanderpump's Latest Update on Her Relationship with Dorit Kemsley and PK Has Us in Suspense
What does the future hold for the onetime Real Housewives of Beverly Hills friends?
Lisa Vanderpump's friendships with many of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies go back years. And yet, they still haven't been able to withstand the fallout from Puppygate in Season 9.
One of those relationships was, of course, her longtime friendship with Paul "PK" Kemsley and his wife, Dorit Kemsley. When Lisa and Dorit couldn't come to a consensus on who really leaked that story to Radar Online earlier this season of RHOBH during a lunch with their husbands, the restaurateur declared their friendship officially over.
Several months have passed since then, and unfortunately, Lisa, Dorit, and PK, haven't made any progress in mending their relationship. “No, I haven’t spoken to them. I haven’t,” Lisa revealed during a recent interview with Us Weekly.
Dorit said as much when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 30, saying that neither she nor PK have spoken to Lisa or her husband, Ken Todd, since that friendship-ending meal. "I didn't think it would end like that, honestly," Dorit said on WWHL.
Dorit opened up a little bit more about her and PK's hopes for that meeting with Lisa and Ken during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show, which you can view, above. "Both PK and I went there truly with the best of intentions to figure out a way forward. At that point, I just accepted what had been done, and I knew I wasn't gonna receive an apology, and I knew I wasn't gonna receive accountability," she explained. "And I had said several times, 'Lisa, let's just put it behind us and let's just figure out a way forward.' And she didn't want to do that."
Lisa also shared during the RHOBH After Show why her friendship with PK couldn't continue amid her drama with Dorit. "How could I have a friendship with PK? A husband should ostensibly stand by his wife, whether or not it's good times, bad times. I mean, for him to have a relationship with us would have to maybe have been a problem with his wife, and I don't want that. But he tried," she said. "And Dorit said, 'Well, why does our friendship have to have conditions?' Well, guess what? I don't want a friendship when someone's calling me a liar, so end of story."
