Lisa Rinna Says She Was "Actually Happy" to See Lisa Vanderpump This Season of RHOBH
"I just want to move on, and move through, and let go," the #RHOBH actress said.
Lisa Vanderpump and Lisa Rinna finally came face-to-face at Erika Girardi's Studio 54-themed birthday party in the Season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (clip above). After all of the drama that went down between these two last season, you might have expected Lisa V. to actually tug that wig off of Lisa R.'s head instead of just joking about it. But surprise, surprise, the Lisas were actually quite cordial with one another, friendly even.
Lisa R. revealed why she went into that party hoping that the two could turn over a new leaf this season. "I can tell you honestly, six months had passed at this point. My father had passed away, and I was in a total different mindset, to be honest with you. And I think that when you lose a parent, it really changes you. It really puts everything into perspective," she explained during her visit to Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday. "And so, I was actually happy to see her because I have a long history with Lisa. We didn't have a good year last year, obviously, but I have much more of a long history. And I'm not the kind of person that holds grudges. I really just don't. And especially after losing my dad, life is too short. It really is. I just want to move on and move through and let go."
She then teased that we'll have to wait and see how her relationship with the RHOBH restaurateur develops this season, which is also the case for her friendship with new pal, Eden Sassoon, who seemed to suggest that she and Lisa R. were no longer friends during a previous appearance on Access Hollywood Live, according to hosts Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover. "I think everybody has their own perspective and their own reality," Lisa R. said. "And her reality, Eden's reality, is different than my reality, and I think you're gonna see that play out."
Lisa R. said this season was the first time she had met Eden, and she said she welcomed her and her fellow newbie, Dorit Kemsley, with open arms. "We have two great new girls on the show. It's always great to have new blood. I mean, I was new blood. When Eileen [Davidson] and I came on together, we were new blood," she explained. "It brings about great, new energy to play with, and the girls are strong."
So will the peace between the Lisas last? This preview from Tuesday night's upcoming episode of RHOBH definitely has us wondering.
