Lindsay Hubbard Says She Isn't Concerned About Carl Radke's Reaction to Her Pregnancy
The Summer House cast member also revealed she knows the baby's sex and already has a name "in mind."

Less than a year after her shocking breakup with Carl Radke, the Summer House cast member took to Instagram to reveal she and her mystery boyfriend were expecting their first child. The July 4 post received a flood of celebratory messages from Lindsay’s fans, friends, and fellow Bravolebrities, including Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo, Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix, and The Valley’s Kristen Doute; however, there's one reaction that fans have been patiently awaiting: Carl’s.
Lindsay says Carl's "emotions are no longer [her] responsibility"
As of July 7, no one knew how the NYC salesman received Lindsay’s exciting news. Was he upset? Shocked? Happy? If you ask Lindsay, she couldn’t care less.
“I’m sure he’ll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I’m not calling him up and having a conversation with him,” she told People magazine ahead of her pregnancy announcement. “That relationship is in my past, and I can’t really focus on my past anymore because I’m so focused on my present and my future. And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It’s just not my problem anymore.”

Lindsay knew she was pregnant during Summer House Season 8 reunion
Lindsay and Carl got engaged in August 2022 and were set to marry in November 2023; but just months before the planned ceremony, Lindsay confirmed Carl had called off their engagement. The two addressed the messy split in the two-part Summer House Season 8 reunion, which was filmed roughly a month after Lindsay learned she was expecting.
“That’s what allowed me that quiet, calm strength that I had at the reunion,” she said about her then-secret pregnancy. “In the back of my mind, the whole time I was thinking, ‘Let me just get through this, and then I can focus on the important things that matter to me right now’ — which certainly wasn’t all that.”

Lindsay told the outlet she was leaving her past behind and is looking forward to her new chapter. The New York native revealed she and her beau know the baby’s sex and have already selected a name.
“We’re not telling anyone what we’re having yet, but the second we found out we were like, ‘Okay, let’s talk about names.’ We already have one in mind, but we’ll see if it sticks as the months go on,” she continued. “I’m just excited to actually be able to talk about it publicly now and share in the celebration with our friends. I’m a very ‘scream from the rooftops’ kind of girl. I’m just ready to let it all out now.”
