Lala Kent Celebrates 3 Years of Sobriety: “I Have Never Felt So Strong”
“I’m beyond grateful,” the Vanderpump Rules cast member wrote of the incredible milestone.
Lala Kent is feeling “beyond grateful” as she celebrates three years of sobriety. The Vanderpump Rules cast member took to Instagram to commemorate the latest milestone in her sobriety journey.
On October 22, Lala feted the meaningful date on Instagram, sharing a snapshot from a recent photo shoot of herself wearing a crown. “Today marks 3 years of sobriety. I can’t believe it. I’m beyond grateful for this path that God & my late father placed in front of me,” she wrote in the caption of the photo.
She went on to add, “I’m grateful for my sober coach & my sponsor who I consider angels. I’m grateful for the program & the men and women who have shared their stories so honestly, giving me hope and inspiration to continue to never pick up a drink again. It is one day at a time, but I will say, I have never felt so strong in my sobriety. “
“It’s the proudest thing I have ever done, aside from becoming a mother. My first priority is always my sobriety. It comes before everything- because without it, I am of no use. I love you all so much. I hope you know that,” Lala concluded, also adding a hashtag that reads “happy birthday to me.”
Lala got plenty of love and support from fellow Bravolebs over her latest achievement. “You did that baby girl!” Shahs of Sunset’s Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi wrote in the comments.
Vanderpump Rules cast members Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney-Schwartz also took to their Instagram Stories to share how proud they are of their friend.
“Congrats to this queen on 3 years of sobriety today!!!” Scheana wrote. Katie also penned her own heartfelt tribute to Lala, writing, “You are one strong woman. I admire the hell out of you. Your tenacity, conviction and vulnerability. Congrats on 3 years. Love you so so much!!!”
