Lala Kent Has Some Big Projects, including New Music, in the Works: "I'm So Excited" (PICS)
The Vanderpump Rules cast member announced exciting new projects — including one with Scheana Shay.
If anyone can multitask, it’s Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules cast member jets back and forth between her homes in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, California; she has written a book and released her own makeup line; she even hosts a successful podcast. But that’s not all she’s capable of. This fall, the Utah native is working on two more projects, and one of them involves her pal Scheana Shay.
Before diving into Lala’s latest news, let the record show that she has been an animal rights advocate for years. The L.A. mama has used her voice to advocate for orcas in captivity, and she has supported Lisa Vanderpump’s charity, Vanderpump Dogs. (When the organization had its gala this past May, Lala showed up and showed out, posing for photos in a sparkly red dress.)
Lala is also an accomplished singer. The Give Them Lala mogul has collaborated with James Kennedy on fun tracks such as “Playboy Bunny” and “Feeling You.” She has also released her own songs, including “Boy” and “4U.” This brings us to today: Based on her latest announcements, it’s clear that Lala is moving forward in both her philanthropy and her music.
Lala Kent has a big partnership with the Humane Society
In her recent Instagram Stories, Lala shared some big news that includes one of her pet causes, the Humane Society. In one post, she wrote, “I’m so excited to be emceeing this year’s Humane Society of Utah gala. This gala will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Little America on November 11 at 6:30 pm.”
Lala added: “Every dollar raised for this event will go towards helping the homeless animals in my home state of Utah. VIP meet and greet with me is also available! Check my link below to learn more. I hope to see you there!”
And that’s not all Lala’s doing for her animal friends. In a separate post, she shared more news about her involvement with the Humane Society. “I’m honored to partner with my friends at [Humane Society] to support the Humane Cosmetics Act, which will end unnecessary and cruel cosmetics testing in the U.S.,” Lala wrote, captioning a photo of a fluffy white bunny.
What Lala Kent and Scheana Shay Are Working On
Meanwhile, over in Scheana’s feed, it became clear that the two mamas have something else up their sleeve. To caption a photo of a song being mixed, the “Good as Gold” singer wrote, “[Lala Kent] with the [ad-libs],” and added a fire emoji.
In another post, Scheana shared a photo of herself and Lala puckering up for the camera. “Christmas smooches [and] songs coming soon,” she teased in the caption.
