Kyle Richards Opens Up About Mauricio Umansky Moving Out: "Very Real All of a Sudden"
The RHOBH cast member shared details on the "strange" moment her estranged husband moved out of their family home.
Kyle Richards is opening up about her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, moving out of their family home.
On the May 14 episode of the Bitch Bible podcast, host Jackie Schimmel asked The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member about reports that Mauricio recently moved from their Encino house to a new home in West Hollywood. Kyle confirmed the news, saying, "He did."
"That was weird," she continued. "I always knew that when that day came, it would feel strange, you know, very real all of a sudden, and that's exactly what happened."

Noting she's a mom of four with six dogs in her house at the moment, she explained, "I'm used to having a lot of chaos and stuff going on around in my house, and the day that he moved out was just strange because I came home and I was like, 'Everything's so quiet.'"
Kyle shared that Mauricio moved out while she was out of town, and declared that "was the smart thing to do."
She added, "I even said, 'I don't want to be there to see that.'"
Earlier this year, one of the couple's daughters also said goodbye to the family home. "Alexia [Umansky] moved out recently," Kyle shared. "Which is also strange."
With both Mauricio and Alexia now out of the house, Kyle admitted, "It's an adjustment for sure."
Despite no longer living together, Kyle and Mauricio have been spotted together with their family, most recently at Stagecoach. "I am very proud of the fact that we get along and can still do things like that as a family," Kyle said.

Before moving out of the house, Mauricio opened up about his living arrangement with Kyle on a Season 2 episode of Buying Beverly Hills.
"It's really intense and sad and hard. She's taken over the entire top floor," he shared. "I'm still living in the bedroom."
He added: "If there is any chance of reconciling, I feel like I'm gonna have to move out to explore, 'Do I miss her? Do I not miss her? Is it time for her to move on with life?'"

In addition to Kyle saying Alexia moving out felt "strange" on the podcast episode, in February, she opened up to The Daily Dish about the change.
"I honestly had to just shut that part of my brain off. It was like, my child's leaving the house. Because of everything that we've been going through this last year-and-a-half, it was just too much for me to even process," she said at the time. "I just had to say, 'I'm grateful she lived with me 27-and-a-half years,' which is not the norm, so I just focus on the positive."
