During an April 1 Amazon Live stream, Kyle revealed she and her estranged spouse were no longer in couples therapy (more on that below). More recently, Mauricio shared new details about how he and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member were doing while still living together in their Encino, California, home.

On a recent episode of Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio opened up about his living situation with his estranged wife. "It's really intense and sad and hard. She's taken over the entire top floor. I'm still living in the bedroom," shared of their living conditions as they continue to cohabitate.

He added: "If there is any chance of reconciling, I feel like I'm gonna have to move out to explore, 'Do I miss her? Do I not miss her? Is it time for her to move on with life?'"

Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still live together?

As recently as March 2024, they were. Kyle, however, has previously stated that she's not sure her and Mauricio's living arrangement is "sustainable."

"We were never fighters, we're not a toxic couple, so we've been able to manage that so far. It's gonna go one way or the other, you know? We're either going to wake up and be like, 'Oh my gosh! We could actually fix this,' or it's going to be divorce," Kyle told ET in February. "I mean, I just don't know how sustainable living under the same roof as friends and as a family can last. I don't know how that can last."

Like Kyle said on the reunion, should the living arrangement not work anymore, that's when divorce would really be on the table. As she added in the same interview, "[Divorce] would be when we can no longer do what we're doing right now."

Why are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky no longer in couples therapy?

During the aforementioned Amazon Live stream, a fan asked Kyle how she and Mauricio were doing in couples therapy. The RHOBH mom then revealed: they were were taking a break.

"We haven’t been in therapy in a while, to be honest," Kyle replied. "We’re just taking a break from that, [but] we get along very well and we’re really good friends."

Why Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Separated

As RHOBH fans are aware, Kyle confirmed her separation from Mauricio after 27 years of marriage in October 2023 while Season 13 was airing during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. During Part 3 of the Season 13 reunion, Kyle shared what led to her ultimately deciding to part ways with the real estate agent.

"With any marriage, there's issues that you have, and they come up and you get busy. You've got kids — my kids were little — I'm working, I'm being a mommy, and doing all that, [so, the issues] get put aside and will come up again," Kyle said during Part 3 of the Season 13 reunion. "Some of the issues never went away. They were never worked on. And then something, like I said in my interview, happened where I did lose my trust."

Kyle noted she wasn't able to move past the issue (which she didn't explicitly talk about). “I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was, I don’t want to say putting up with, just became more apparent to me, I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point," she continued.
