Kyle Richards Explains Why She Stopped Speaking to Some of Her RHOBH Castmates
The Beverly Hills OG also predicted a Sutton Stracke confrontation ahead of the Season 13 reunion.
As a longstanding Housewives OG, Kyle Richards knows that reunion specials are often unpredictable. But that doesn't mean she goes into the sitdowns without expectations.
The mother of four confirmed this in a recent Amazon Live stream, just days before she filmed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion. About 12 minutes into the broadcast, a fan asked Kyle which of her castmates she expected to "butt heads with" during the special, which was taped on January 26. Kyle took a brief pause and let out a big sigh before name-dropping Sutton Stracke.
“I mean I have the most to address with Sutton,” she said. “So I would like to be able to say we’re just gonna get through that. You know how these things are. I think I just need answers, really, more than anything. I don’t know why she came to me like I had done something wrong to her when I was just struggling and could’ve used a friend.”

Although they’ve had a few tiffs over the years, Kyle and Sutton had one of their biggest fallouts in Season 13. The drama seemingly started during a group trip to Las Vegas, when the two exchanged heated words after a Magic Mike Live performance. Kyle later confronted Sutton for storming out of the show and accused the boutique owner of “losing [her] sh-t in ridiculous circumstances.”
Sutton fired back and questioned whether Kyle was simply projecting and trying to hide potential problems in her personal life, specifically in her marriage.
An Episode 14 sneak peek showed Kyle and Sutton taking steps to repair their relationship, with the latter apologizing for not being a "better friend." But in the weeks leading up to the Season 13 reunion, Sutton claimed that Kyle had completely stopped talking to her.
“Well, [Kyle] took a break from me. So I guess we’re still on a break,” Sutton told New York Living earlier this month. “She didn’t tell me we were taking a break, but I kind of noticed that we weren’t talking.”

It appears Sutton wasn’t the only ’Wife who Kyle had distanced herself from.
Elsewhere in the Amazon Live stream, a fan asked the Beverly Hills OG if she had stopped speaking to any of her other castmates.
“Wel,l yeah. I mean, I’m not saying I wouldn’t talk to them, I just haven’t,” she said. “You know, when you’re going through a hard time, you just want to surround yourself with people that make you feel good. And some people weren’t making me feel good, so that’s why.”

Kyle then expressed optimism about the Season 13 reunion, saying she intended to reconcile with some of the ladies; however, she reminded viewers that reunions don’t always play out as expected.
“Hopefully, my goal is — after the reunion — is to put any hard feelings behind us and move forward,” she explained. “I never like leaving a reunion still not feeling good; or even worse, in a worse place than when we arrived there.”
