Nearly nine months after announcing her marital split, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom spoke about her unfamiliar experience on social media: a flood of "random people" sliding into her DMs and shooting their shots.
Kyle addressed the development during a recent appearance on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, confirming both “men and women” have sent her messages in the hopes of igniting a romance.

Did Kyle Richards encourage Mauricio Umansky to start dating again?
“I mean, it’s just so funny, but it didn’t used to be like that,” Kyle admitted before being asked if she was dating again. “It’s really hard to wrap my head around that but, of course, I thought about that and my friends make all kinds of jokes and stuff, you know?”

While she may have plenty of romantic options, Kyle revealed she’s not quite ready to enter the dating pool. The RHOBH cast member said she knows she’ll eventually take the leap, but had zero interest in using dating apps.
“I mean that day will come, regardless, because we are separated,” she said about her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. “We’re allowed to do what we want to do right now. That’s the way it is.”

During a March 18 interview with E! News, Mauricio spoke about his romantic life, insisting he had yet to reenter the dating scene.
“I’m spending a lot of time by myself and kind of getting to learn myself and to enjoy myself,” he said during the sitdown, alongside his stepdaughter, Farrah Brittany, and daughters Alexia Umansky and Sophia Umansky. “I’ve been enjoying that process. I’m not in a rush to do anything at the moment. I am enjoying the journey and I’m learning from myself… I’ve got a lot of stuff to do in business… There is no rush to go out there. I’m just taking it a day at a time.”
Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their separation in early July after facing a wave of divorce rumors. The couple made it clear they had not taken steps toward legal separation and agreed to keep things cordial while living under the same roof.

Mauricio opened up about his marital issues in Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 when he told his daughters that Kyle had given him the green light to start dating again. However, Kyle pushed back against the comments shortly after they came to light.
“I was a little taken aback,” she said during her February 21 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “[Mauricio] said something like I encouraged him to go and date… It wasn’t encouraged. It was, you know, I’d rather, you know, say that if we’re going to be separated — say that so that way I don’t have to feel hurt. And that’s easier said than [done].”
