Kyle Details Her & Mauricio's "Very Nice" Co-Parenting Arrangement for 16-Year-Old Portia
Get the latest on Kyle Richards' relationship with her ex Mauricio Umansky, including how they co-parent their youngest daughter, Portia Umansky.
Now that Kyle Richards' estranged husband Mauricio Umansky has officially moved out of their Encino home, it's no surprise that the way they each spend time with their youngest daughter, 16-year-old Portia Umansky, has changed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member opened up about the new way of living during a June 4 Amazon Live stream. More specifically, Kyle was asked if Portia has to split her time between her and Mauricio, and she replied, "I mean, I guess, technically she would have to — but it doesn't feel like that."
Why? "Because we have a great relationship," Kyle said of her and Mauricio. "And it's like, if she wants to go, she goes. If she's here, sometimes we'll have dinner, and we're just like, 'It's whatever you want to do.' There's no set thing."
"She's 16 years old, and there's no fighting involved in my relationship with Mau at all," Kyle added. "So that part is very nice. I don't have to deal with any of that. Thank god."

Plus, Kyle, Mauricio, and Portia — as well as their other daughters Alexia and Sophia, along with Kyle's oldest child Farrah Brittany, whom she shares with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie — still spend plenty of time together as a family. In recent months, the former couple even traveled to the California desert and attended Stagecoach 2024 with one another and their daughters.
As Kyle put it during an October 2023 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance, "When the news first came out, it was really, really devastating for the whole family. I mean, our phones were blowing up, my kids were just crying and wouldn't leave the house, and it was really, really difficult. But now, they're much better."
"They're really strong and they're just so together and so smart and they've been my best, best, best friends, and I could not be more proud of them," Kyle continued. "They're just amazing human beings, and thank God I have them through this."
