Kristen Doute Reveals a Big Update on Her Relationship with Boyfriend Luke

Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute is sharing an update on her relationship with her boyfriend of one year, Luke Broderick.

The Latest on Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s Relationship
Speaking to The Messenger on September 7 about her and Luke, Kristen said, “I know that we have an amazing future ahead of us, full of a couple of kids and a lot of love.”
That’s not all, though. Kristen also predicted that she and Luke will have “a lot of really cool entrepreneurial businesses and endeavors” too.
After all, the two are already podcast co-hosts.
Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s Relationship Timeline
Speaking of Kristen and Luke’s podcast, it was during a December 2022 episode that she shared some major insight into their relationship. As Kristen revealed, she met Luke when they were in the same wedding back in June 2022. “Right after we met at the wedding, or like hung out at the wedding, we had sex,” she said, going on to note that despite how quickly they got together, she still “battled” with the idea of being Luke’s “person.”
“I love you so much,” she told him on the podcast, “but just the thought of being someone’s girlfriend again threw me through a loop because I want to be a wife and I want to be a mother. Most of all, I just want to be a mother and a partner. And I was so tired of being a girlfriend for a couple of years and then having sh-t fall apart.”
Luke pointed out that she had other reservations too — namely, his age and the fact that he lived in Colorado at the time. (Kristen is 40; Luke is 32.) As he put it, “You tried really hard not to fall in love with me and not to let this become a thing because of my age, because of the distance, because of these factors that when you think about it logically, like, how can this work?”
And yet it did indeed, and it continues to work. “You definitely never pushed anything on me. You were just persistent. You’re consistent, which is what made me fall in love with you,” Kristen said. “But the persistence definitely made me stay interested in you.”
“I just had this feeling like, ‘Oh man, I’m falling for this guy now. And he doesn’t even live here. And I’ll find a way to make that work because I love being in love,’” she continued. “And I was hell-bent on being single. I didn’t want to hurt you, either. Because I knew that you really liked me — not to sound like a d-ckbag — and I knew I really liked you. I just felt like I had to get some sh-t out of my system.”
Luke, meanwhile, said he felt a “spark from the very beginning.”
