In Season 1, Episode 5 of The Valley, Kristen Doute dropped a quote that warranted quite a reaction from her fellow cast members and the internet alike. "It's so hard being an empath," she said during a tense moment with the friend group. Of course, we had to create some Bravo-exclusive merch inspired by the moment, which you can shop below.

In Episode 5, Nia Booko organized a paint and sip event to bring the ladies of the group together. Her guests included Kristen, Brittany Cartwright, Janet Caperna, Jasmine Goode, and Michelle Saniei Lally. When the women were asked to set a goal for the art session, Kristen explained that she was hoping to manifest calmness.

"My intention for this day specifically is peace," said the t-shirt brand owner, adding "I feel like there have been issues, and frustrations, and a lack of trust."
She continued, "I think my biggest thing is that I think we can all be a little more empathetic, which is what I try to lead with. I cannot help but feel every single person's feelings when I'm in a room, and then I take it home with me."
Kristen elaborated in her confessional, "It's so hard to be an empath," because "I want to fix everyone's problems, I want to involve myself because I just think that I can, because I'm a good person."
In their individual confessionals, Brittany, Janet, and Jasmine were skeptical of Kristen's claim. But if you, too, identify as an empath who can't help but get involved when tensions escalate between your friends, say it loudly and proudly with this shirt.
