What Did Kim Fields Think Was "Atrocious" About Her First Real Housewives Reunion?
Here's why the #RHOA Season 8 sit-down was uncomfortable for this newbie.
Before The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 reunion filmed, Andy Cohen wasn't sure how newbie Kim Fields would fare during her first experience reliving the season's ups and downs with her castmates. Kim appeared as Andy's guest on Sunday's Watch What Happens Live, so at least we know that she survived the reunion taping, which filmed last month. But barely, as it was physically uncomfortable to sit there with her RHOA castmates. "If I'm ever in a corset and a bra for many hours again, that was atrocious," Kim revealed during the WWHL After Show (clip above).
Though she suggested that she only got through it because Andy was there, Kim thought the reunion was overall a good opportunity to set the record straight on what went down this season. "The interaction was interesting," Kim told Andy. "This is like your final comeuppance to say your peace on some crap and finally get it over with."
However, that doesn't mean the reunion was full of peaceful resolutions. "Sometimes it's just frustrating when you just feel like No.1, aren't you watching the same stuff we're all watching?" Kim said of talking about the season's biggest moments with her castmates.
Still, none of her castmates really should have been surprised about what Kim had to say at the reunion because she believes she has been open and honest with them throughout the season. "Overall, I don't feel like it was, 'Oh, I finally have the reunion to say what I want to say because I really do feel like all through the season I was able to say my piece,'" Kim told Andy. "I really do feel like I was well represented. I feel like my family, even when issues came up, we still handled it and stayed true to ourselves. So mission accomplished."
One of those issues that arose for Kim and her family this season was the rumor that her husband Christopher Morgan is gay. However, Kim told Andy that Chris handled the situation "with class and grace and like a true man of God." She also praised the "wonderful interview" that he did with E! News last week responding to his sexuality being discussed on RHOA this season. "Certainly, he always has his grown man on," Kim said.
Kim, on the other hand, was not as polite in her response to Kenya Moore and her castmates talking about the rumors on RHOA. "I guess you get to a certain point where just nothing surprises you now," Kim told Andy about what she thought when she saw the moment play out on TV. "I wasn't pissed; I was more disgusted, quite honestly, because it's like for real? How do y'all do this? Aren't we like for real, for real grown?"
Still, Kim somehow managed to keep her cool during this situation on RHOA. Relive the tense moment, below.
