Mark Consuelos Says Kelly Ripa Channels *This* Jersey Housewife When She's Angry
The actor thinks his wife shares similarities with some of the #RHONJ ladies.
Kelly Ripa may have taken New York City by storm as the host of the Big Apple TV institution LIVE with Kelly, but she's a Jersey girl at heart, having been born and raised in the Garden State.
In fact, Kelly's husband Mark Consuelos thinks that she shares some similarities to a few of the state's other famous residents: the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Mark said during Sunday night's Watch What Happens Live that his fellow guest Jacqueline Laurita reminds him of his own Jersey housewife "when she's angry" (clip above). He also said he thinks Kelly's usual "very zenned-out and calm" demeanor gives her a Caroline Manzo vibe.
The rest of the RHONJ cast has a special place in Mark's heart too, and he later added that Kelly has "the sexy part of all of them. I'm trying to cover my bases," he joked on WWHL.
Perhaps the reason why Mark is so drawn to Jersey girls is because he agreed with Jacqueline that "a little spice is good." We've certainly seen his wife get a little feisty on WWHL in the past, like in this moment below.
