How Kelly Dodd and Rick Leventhal Are Keeping Close Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The RHOC mom and her fiancée are hard at work in NYC, while Jolie is with a special someone.
Kelly Dodd sent us a much-needed update on how she and her family are doing amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and dished on how she and fiancée Rick Leventhal are still taking care of business. The RHOC entrepreneur even let us know how her daughter, Jolie, has been spending her time —and who she has been self-isolating with!
In the video above, Kelly says, "I hope you guys are binge-watching The Real Housewives of Orange County. I am on set in Times Square with my fiancée."
Rick says hello and shows off the script he's going to recite for his news affiliates across the country. Then, Kelly wishes everyone "health and wealth" and jokes that she tried to help the local economy by buying a hot dog — or "street meat," as she calls it — from a cart. Ah, only in New York.
Then, the RHOC mom comments on her surroundings. Times Square looks especially empty in the video as she explains, "Anyways, everyone's got gloves and masks on."
"It's a whole new world out here," says Rick.
"And my daughter, Jolie, is with my mom, which is good because my mom's a homebody. So, it's perfect," Kelly boasts.
Considering the issues Kelly and her mom, Bobbi, had in the past, it's great to know that they're in a good place now and that Jolie will be seeing her grandmother more these days. According to Kelly and Rick, Jolie and Bobbi are sheltering in place and the 13-year-old is doing all of her homework online.
Even during a crisis, Kelly seems appreciative of all the time she gets to spend with Rick on the job. "It's kind of fun going to work with my love," the RHOC cast member gushes.
