Katie Flood Opens Up on Her "Casual" Relationship with Tom Schwartz

Katie Flood and Tom Schwartz have gone their separate ways since they ignited a spark with one another during Winter House Season 3.
The Below Deck Mediterranean alum and Vanderpump Rules cast member are both very busy focusing on their own lives and careers. Katie currently lives in Dubai, while Tom just moved into a brand-new Los Angeles apartment.
In the eight months since the Winter House Season 3 reunion aired, not much has changed between Katie and Tom's friendship. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, August 12, Katie revealed that she and Tom still keep in contact, but things are very platonic between them.
"I actually haven't spoken to Schwartz in a hot minute," she said. "But, you know, as always, we have a very chill, casual, easy relationship so we do still chat from time to time."
In addition to Tom, Katie also keeps in contact with her Winter House Season 3 cast members. "We still have a group chat," she explained. "It's definitely a lot more quieter than it used to be, but we still chat every now and then."

In case you needed a refresher, in VPR Season 11, Tom had been spending lots of time with his good friend, Jo Wenberg, who he would sometimes hook up with. But, Tom was insistent that he did not want to be in a relationship with her and wanted to keep things strictly casual between them.
During her appearance on WWHL, Katie shared her thoughts on how Tom handled his relationship with Jo. Katie, who had a similar experience with Tom, felt some sympathy for his on-again-off-again hookup buddy.
"I one hundred percent think he led her on," Katie explained. "As we all know, there are three sides to every story. When I watched that, I was really like, 'Oof, Schwartzy.' But I feel like that's when his nonchalant personality comes into play. You know, I adore him, but sometimes it's just like, 'What's going on?' You know?"
"I feel like, yeah, he definitely led Jo on in my eyes," she concluded.
Katie Flood's reaction to Tom Schwartz dating Sophia Skoro
Katie previously weighed in on Tom's current relationship with his girlfriend Sophia Skoro back in March. After Page Six shared a post on Instagram about the rumored new couple, Katie took to the comments, where she cheekily addressed Tom's affinity for dating Katies.
"At least her name isn't Katie," Katie Flood wrote in the comments, along with a clapping hands emoji and a crying laughing emoji.
Tom's ex-wife and VPR cast member, Katie Maloney, followed up on Katie Flood's joke in the comments as well. "[Katie Flood], he'll probably still call her Katie by accident," Katie Maloney responded. "(I really tried to resist)."
