Kara Keough Bosworth's Father Passes Away Weeks After Her Son's Death
"You're on grandpa duty in heaven," the RHOC daughter wrote in an emotional tribute.
Kara Keough Bosworth’s father, Matt Keough, has passed away at the age of 64. The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter confirmed the sad news on social media, just a few weeks after the loss of her newborn son, McCoy Casey Bosworth.
Kara, who is daughter to RHOC alum Jeana Kough, penned an emotional tribute to her dad on Instagram, asking him to look after McCoy, who died during childbirth in April. “Daddy, please take care of my son,” she wrote alongside a series of family photos from her childhood. “Teach him the circle changeup and how to find forever friends. You’re on grandpa duty in heaven now.”
Kara’s brother, Shane Keough, also shared a moving memorial to their father on Instagram. “My favorite place was always on your shoulders. It makes me smile knowing McCoy will be there with you; right there on your shoulders. It wasn’t always perfect but I wouldn’t change it for the world,” he wrote.
He went on to add, “You taught me more than you’ll ever know and I hope that I make you proud. Kick back and enjoy the eternal sunshine. Till I see you again - I love dad.”
Jeana also paid tribute to her late ex-husband, sharing photo of Matt from his days with the Oakland A's.
Jeana and Matt split in 2004 and were separated for over a decade before finalizing their divorce in 2019.
