Tammy Knickerbocker Addresses Connecting with Her Daughter After Reporting Her Missing
The RHOC alum spoke about talking to her daughter, Lindsey Knickerbocker, after she allegedly went missing.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Tammy Knickerbocker has confirmed that she spoke with her daughter, Lindsey Knickerbocker, after she allegedly went missing earlier in January. Tammy confirmed to People that she has since spoken with Lindsey when she “finally heard” from her daughter, who she noted was in Las Vegas and doesn’t “want anyone to worry.”
“She saw all the messages on social media and called me through Facebook Messenger saying, ‘Mom, I’m okay. Leave me alone. Stop with all these messages. I don’t want to talk to anyone,’” Tammy told the publication about her conversation with her daughter, who allegedly went missing earlier this month. Tammy noted that until they connected on Saturday, “the last time I heard her voice” was on January 9.
Per the People report, Lindsey was allegedly arrested on New Year’s Eve and reportedly spent time in jail. Tammy then learned her daughter was in the Las Vegas area per a voicemail she left her. Tammy filed a missing persons report and spent time in the area looking for her daughter before they later connected. “We talked for about a half hour. She seemed like herself,” Tammy told People. She added that while her daughter is an adult who wishes to be left alone, “she’s still my daughter, and I can’t write my daughter off. I want to help her in any way I can.”
Lindsey’s sister, Megan Knickerbocker, also posted about her missing sister before sharing on social media that “she has been found.”
Kara Keough Bosworth, whose mom is RHOC alum Jeana Keough, also posted about the situation involving Lindsey, who according to throwback photos appears to be an old friend of hers. Kara later updated her own followers on Instagram about the ordeal, writing, “Today, [Lindsey Knickerbocker] learned just how incredibly loved she is. Thanks for all the prayers [and] support — it worked.”
