Shane Keough Pays Tribute to His Father, Matt Keough, After His Passing
The RHOC son is remembering his late dad's legacy in a moving message.
Shane Keough is remembering his late father, Matt Keough, after sister Kara Keough Bosworth shared the news of his passing on May 2. The Real Housewives of Orange County son of Jeana Keough paid tribute to his dad by sharing a series of family photos on Instagram.
Shane took to his Instagram Stories to post several personal pictures with his dad, including one from his childhood and another from Kara’s wedding to her husband, Kyle Bosworth.
“I’ll always remember the smile, Velcro shoes, clothing with more pockets than necessary, and a life many could only dream of. And of course, the mustache,” he wrote alongside the first image.
Shane made sure to honor Matt’s baseball career with the Oakland A’s, sharing a throwback video of his dad’s days as a pro athlete.
“Your legend will live on forever in time because more change will come because of your story,” he captioned a photo featuring a newspaper story featuring his father.
Shane also noted that his dad is now with his late nephew, McCoy Bosworth, who passed away during childbirth in April. “My favorite place was always on your shoulders. It makes me smile knowing McCoy will be there with you; right there on your shoulders,” he wrote in part in an Instagram post dated May 2.
