Melissa Gorga Is a "Proud Wifey" Following Husband Joe Gorga's Latest Accomplishment
The RHONJ cast member steps out to support her husband's most recent career move.
Joe Gorga has taken the comedy world by storm! The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband, well-known for his house-flipping abilities, has also shown off his comedic skills, bringing lots of laughs over the years. Recently, Joe has tapped into his talent for standup as he performed a sold-out comedy show on October 27 at the famous Carolines on Broadway in New York City.
And, of course, his wife, RHONJ cast member Melissa Gorga, was there to show support. "If someone told me 10 years ago that [Joe Gorga] would be performing comedy live on Broadway one day I would never believe them," wrote Melissa in the caption of her Instagram post, which featured a dazzling photo of the couple against the New York City backdrop. She added, "Proud wifey!!"
"Love you baby," wrote Joe in the comments, alongside a heart emoji.
Joe's newly engaged sister Teresa Giudice also attended the comedy show, along with her fiancé, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. The RHONJ cast member took to Instagram to show how proud she was of her brother's achievement, sharing a series of Instagram Stories.
“I’m so proud of you, I love you,” said Teresa in her Instagram Stories featuring Joe backstage, who told his sister he was drinking “Johnnie Blue” — a reference to Johnnie Walker Blue Label blended Scotch whiskey — in honor and remembrance of their father, Giacinto Gorga, who passed away last year.
This isn't the first time Joe has flexed his funny bone. He first made his standup comedy debut nearly two years ago at a show called "The Real Italians of Comedy" in West Nyack, New York. But this is Joe's first-ever comedy tour.
"My passion has always been to make people laugh," Joe had previously revealed in an Instagram post, after first announcing his standup comedy debut. "Ever since I was a kid, I found so much joy in putting a smile on others."
