Joe Giudice Gets a Visit From Family in Italy (PHOTO)
The RHONJ dad opened up about the recent visit from a special lady in his family.
Joe Giudice shared that a familiar face is visiting him in Italy. On Sunday (October 19), Joe posted a photo of himself with his mom, Filomena Giudice. And, yes, he's pretty happy to have his mom with him right now.
"Glad to have mom here," he shared on Instagram along with a photo of him and his mom getting in some quality family time. Previously Joe's brother, Pete, had been spending time with him in Italy shortly after he settled into his life there last October.
The reunion with his mom comes a year after his move to Italy following his release from an ICE facility. Recently, Joe spoke about how he hasn't been able to see his four daughters with The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice, Gia, 19, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 11 since late 2019 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“We talk every day,” he said in an interview with Wendy Williams on her talk show earlier this month. “Milania was just gonna call me now. I was watching them play soccer yesterday through the phone. So, good thing for the phones. It’s better to be there in person, but what are you gonna do? Right now, I wouldn’t be able to come there anyway.”
Joe's deportation appeal was denied back in April. In September, Teresa and Joe finalized their divorce after 20 years of marriage.
Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told The Daily Dish at the time, “This is obviously the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for both Joe and Teresa as individuals. They remain committed to continuing to raise their four amazing daughters and co-parent as they have for the last few years.”
