Hannah Ferrier Has a Shocking Reaction to João Franco and Brooke Laughton's Split

Not only was Hannah Ferrier definitely not a fan of João Franco last season of Below Deck Mediterranean, but she also wasn't afraid to share her opinion with the rest of the crew, especially to Brooke Laughton, who began a relationship with the then-deckhand. Hannah even tried to warn Brooke that João may not be the guy for her, which ultimately caused a rift in their friendship.

So when João revealed that Brooke had cheated on him as they pursued a relationship in between Seasons 3 and 4 of Below Deck Med, we figured if anyone had something to say on the matter, it would be Hannah. But Hannah is actually keeping mum when it comes to João and Brooke's split.

When asked if she was surprised to hear of Brooke's alleged infidelity during Monday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above), Hannah replied, "So I'm staying out of the whole cheating thing. I don't know if it happened. It's none of my business."

Hannah and João actually seem to have put their differences aside as they work together as chief stew and bosun, respectively, this season of Below Deck Med. Hannah also seems to have patched things up with Brooke after last season, revealing on WWHL that the two chat "every now and then."

João shared an update on his relationship with Brooke in the Below Deck Med Season 4 premiere. "Brooke and I threw ourselves in the deep end. I met her family, she met mine. She came to Zimbabwe, and we worked so well together, we really did," he said in the episode. "Things seemed perfect, but I found out she cheated on me."

The bosun added, "I really, really loved her. I wanted to make it work, even so, but she didn't want to, so what can I do?"

João told The Daily Dish prior to this season's premiere that he and Brooke are not in contact today. "We haven't spoken to each other since, not once. She had apologized to me through a friend of mine, and then I just said to her, I don't know what she wanted, but I was over it, so I told her that," he shared. "I wouldn't be able to speak to her again."

Brooke denied João's claim that she cheated on him in a statement to PEOPLE prior to the Below Deck Med Season 4 premiere. “Although it initially hurt to hear João blamed our relationship break down on a false claim that I cheated on him, it is very true to his character and allows him some relief for his ego," she said. "In reality, there was absolutely no cross over between when I realized what kind of person I wasn’t looking for and the kind I was and I absolutely did not cheat on him."

She added, “If this theory makes him sleep easier at night, then so be it but him saying this only makes me lose even more respect for him. I know exactly the kind of person I am and I’m extremely content and secure in the facts of how everything played out. … I only hope he continues to [grow] and learn what it is to be a man and a good person.”

João may not be completely over Brooke this season of Below Deck Med. We'll see the bosun get emotional in next Monday night's episode at 9/8c. Watch a preview, below.
