Jim Edmonds Helps out with Son Hart's Therapy Amid Split from Meghan King Edmonds
The former Real Housewives of Orange County husband spent time with his youngest kids this week.
Jim Edmonds is getting some quality time in with his younger children after his split from The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds. The former MLB player posted photos on his Instagram Stories that depict what he's been doing with the kids, twin sons Hayes and Hart, 1, and daughter Aspen, who turns 3 later this month, after filing for divorce from his wife of five years, Meghan, on October 25.
The former RHOC husband shared footage on November 25 from inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber with son Hart, who was diagnosed with "irreversible brain damage" in connection with his minor Periventricular Leukomalacia diagnosis earlier this year. "A little oxygen therapy with the Hart," he wrote. He also shared a video of Hart walking following the treatment!
Jim also shared that he brought Aspen to school this morning, November 26 — and showed how excited she was to bring her toys in to the classroom.
Earlier this week, Meghan told Us Weekly that Jim had not seen the kids since their split. "He hasn’t seen them since he left me — in no part due to any reluctance on my part — but hopefully, he will see them soon," she said.
She also asserted that she was the one to break the news to their eldest child together. "I had to quickly come up with a way to tell Aspen we are getting divorced when Jim cleared out his closet the day after he told me he was leaving. (Meanwhile, I took our children to Baby Shark Live with my sister because Jim didn’t want to go). He did this because he had his assistant call me and pretend to offer laundry help for me and when I declined and asked she please not come to my house until things simmer down, she showed up at my house 10 minutes later with Jim. I had already left. Anyway, Jim hasn’t asked about how I told her or how she took the news. In fact, I don’t think it’s occurred to him that seeing his empty closet could scar our toddler. "
