Jenna Lyons Reveals Dorinda Medley Texted Her Before the RHONY Reunion
Dorinda Medley had an important message for the RHONY cast member.
One of the most major parts of The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 is coming up: It’s the reunion! And the filming always leads to an unpredictable day, filled with surprises, revelations, and makeups.
Ask Jenna Lyons. When she was in hair and makeup prepping to tape the upcoming Season 14 reunion, she was asked how she was feeling beforehand by the Daily Dish.
“Where’s the exit?” Jenna deadpanned.
That was a joke, of course. In fact, she was heading into the get-together with a “sweet” little confidence-booster.
Jenna Reveals Dorinda Medley Texted Her Before the Reunion
Asked if any current or former Housewives offered her reunion advice, Jenna said, “Not advice. But Dorinda Medley texted me last night and said, like, ‘You’ve got this, you’re gonna have a great day.’”
It was the right message at the right time from the former RHONY cast member who knows what it’s like to go through a New York reunion.

“She was very sweet,” added Jenna.
In the meantime, Jenna was still determining what her look would be for the reunion.
“I brought some things and I’m going to try them on,” she told Daily Dish. “I’m not sure yet.”
Of course, she was very excited about the theme, which offered her plenty of options.
“It sounded very much like the color story that I did for my party at my house,” said Jenna. “I think it was, like, khaki, camel, black, gold, and I was like, ‘Oh, that sounds familiar.’”
When the former J. Crew prez invited fellow RHONY cast members Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield over for an intimate affair at her posh and airy Manhattan apartment, she requested they were wear black, khaki, or gold.
Jenna did ultimately decide on what to wear, and her reunion look was recently revealed — and she went for an outfit that was both classic and gorgeous. Like she usually does, she rocked a red lip and her iconic glasses. It was paired with a blazer, a sheer first, and an unusual option for a Real Housewives reunion: jeans.
We're sure it's a look Dorinda, the Queen of "making it nice," could get on board with.
