Sailing Yacht's Colin MacRae Reveals if Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux or Gary King Is the "Better Roommate"

There were some major changes to the cabin assignments on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Things are starting to get pretty intense for the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew in Season 2 — and no, we're not just talking about the Parsifal III yachties' first night off.

How to Watch

In the March 15 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, we saw Gary King really start to express his frustration with Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux after the deckhand didn't coil the tow line immediately after the first mate had asked him to do so.

Chief engineer Colin MacRae weighed in on the dynamic that we're starting to see between Gary and Jean-Luc during his appearance with the first mate on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 15 (clip above). When host Andy Cohen asked if Gary's "fuse [is] too short with Jean-Luc" or if it is "deserved," Colin responded, "I think it's fairly well deserved from what I observed."

So after Jean-Luc didn't seem to be exactly on his A game during the March 15 episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary made the executive decision to swap cabins with the deckhand. You see, Jean-Luc had been having a tough time getting any sleep since the charter season began because the six-foot-nine deckhand was too tall for his bunk in the cabin that he shared with Colin. When Gary previously asked Jean-Luc if he wanted to switch cabins because the bunk in his room was significantly longer, the deckhand declined because he didn't want to share a cabin with Captain Glenn Shephard.

However, Jean-Luc finally moved into his new cabin with Captain Glenn, and things seem to be going well for the deckhand and the Below Deck Sailing Yacht boss so far. But what does Colin think about his new roomie, Gary? "I think Gary's a better roommate than Jean-Luc," Colin shared on WWHL. "We get along a bit better. We've got more in common."
