James Kennedy Is Officially DJing Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's Wedding
The Vanderpump Rules couple popped the question to Lala's longtime friend on their podcast.
We have some big news about Lala Kent and Randall Emmett's upcoming wedding: not only will James Kennedy be in attendance, but he will also be spinning during the reception!
The Vanderpump Rules friends discussed the upcoming nuptial on Lala and Rand's podcast, Give Them Lala... with Randall. And after hearing about James' rigorous DJing schedule and commitment to the craft, the future Mr. and Mrs. Emmett were sure that they wanted him to DJ their own wedding.
Randall asked his fiance over the phone from Puerto Rico, where was he stationed directing the film Midnight in the Switchgrass, "Babe, can we ask James to — because we have one of my best friends, his name's DJ Sinatra and he DJs all over the world, he's DJing at our wedding — do you think James would jump in for a half-hour special set for us at the reception?"
"I don't know, why don't we ask him?" Lala responded.
"I would be honored," said James, who was with Lala during the interview. "I'm going to tear up."
Lala and Randall's wedding is scheduled for April 18. Randall recently had to leave Puerto Rico as production on his film was suspended due to the coronavirus/COVID-10 outbreak. The two have already hit some major wedding milestones; they did an engagement photo shoot and sent out invitations.
