John Pringle Clarifies a Question Fans Might Have About His Family
The Southern Charm newcomer also shared his ex-wife's reaction to him appearing on the show.
John Pringle just answered some major questions you probably have about his family. During a January 7 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Southern Charm newcomer shared some information about his upbringing, as well as his relationship with his ex-wife.
Pringle first cleared up a common misconception about his name in the video, above, when Andy Cohen asked, “Has everyone always called you Pringle your whole life? It’s such a great last name, because just want to say it.”
The Charmer noted that he has been called “Pringle” since he began playing sports and also confirmed that his family has “no association with the Pringle chip fortune.”
Next, Andy asked Pringle about his ex-wife, Heidi, and how she felt about him joining the Charleston crew as a Southern Charm cast member. “Oh. Oh god, that’s a good question. She was upset. She was, uh, like this. Like I am right now,” Pringle explained. “I don’t know. Excited, but at the same time, a bit hesitant to really embrace the whole idea.”
Although Heidi wasn’t immediately certain about Pringle being on the show, she eventually warmed up to the idea. “She’s fully jumped on board,” he explained. “She approves, and you know, it’s been great. It’s been great.”
