Is Erika Girardi Subservient to Her Husband?

Erika Girardi may be new to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season, but she has been giving her castmates a piece of her mind like an old pro. So we were surprised to see her hold back and be more obedient around her husband Tom Girardi during the couple's dinner with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd and Erika's disastrous dinner party earlier this season.
But some fans are wondering if Erika feels that her hubby, who is 32 years her senior, talks down to her. "You have to understand something, lawyers think they are the most important people on the planet, so I chalk that up to being, like, a lawyer for a million years," Erika explained Tom's shortness with her on RHOBH during Tuesday's Watch What Happens Live. "Whatever they say, that's it. Stop talking."
Host Andy Cohen went on to point out that he thinks Erika seems subservient to Tom on the show, but she thinks there's another word for it. "I don't know if it's subservient as much as it is mostly respectful, I guess," she said. "His time is precious, and I just try to make the most of it."
Shahs of Sunset's Mercedes "MJ" Javid came to Erika's defense on Twitter Tuesday night. "I TOTALLY get [sic] the'thng w/ @erikajayne & her man. She [loves], respects, understands him. He is not dismissive. They respectively get each other," she tweeted, which Erika showed her thanks for on Twitter as well.
We say that any guy that doesn't have a problem with you "patting the puss" on national TV is a keeper.
