How Is Teresa Giudice Doing While Joe Is in Prison? NeNe Leakes Offers Insight

Teresa Giudice and NeNe Leakes may not live in the same state, but these Housewives definitely make time to hang out when they can. While in Atlanta, The Real Housewives of New Jersey recently caught up with The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal, who gave an update on how Teresa is doing while husband, Joe Giudice, is serving his 41-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. "Her spirits were very good," NeNe told PEOPLE. "In fact, while we were together, Joe called. So she talks to Joe all the time, so if he's having a hard time, I'm surprised. I feel like prayer changes things. I've never been through what they're going through, and I can only imagine that must be super tough."

Joe is serving time at the same federal institution as Phaedra Parks' estranged husband, Apollo Nida. When The Daily Dish spoke to Phaedra earlier this year, she offered up her support for the RHONJ mom. "My advice is always just to [be] prayerful and to just know that you're not alone," she said back in March. "My husband nor her husband are the first husbands to go to prison, they won't be the last. And you know the most important thing are her children, those beautiful daughters that they have together. And this too shall pass."
