How Gretchen Rossi 'Shakes Off' Her Haters
The #RHOC alum blasts back at bullies on social media and talks about her upcoming wedding to Slade Smiley.
Gretchen Rossi is just shaking it off.
Using Taylor Swift's 1989 anthem, "Shake It Off," the Real Housewives of Orange County star took to Facebook to not only post a video of herself lip syncing the pop star's feel-good jam, but also included a lengthy message for anyone who might have something no-so-kind to say about her.
"This is how I feel towards all the haters that love to tear me down......I work hard everyday to make my dreams happen!" she wrote on Facebook. If you don't like it then click unfollow, I'm not mad at you, but if you want to spread negativity get off my page because my page is about spreading kindness, supporting and uplifting others especially other hard working entrepreneurs like myself.......So for all the haters out there you can suck it!"
Then Gretchen offered up some life advice for anyone hoping to spread negativity on her social media account. "If you don't like your life change it, don't come trying to knock someone down for working hard to connect with her audience and creating a space where she can share her life, her business, and what's important to me. Now this is me shaking it off!" she added before adding a hodgepodge of hashtags. "#thankyouIamdonenow #Idontlikejerksfornoreason #Makingfunofthestupidity #yesimadorkbutidontcare #shakeitoff @taylorswift #spreadlovenothate."
In addition to posting Taylor Swift videos, these days the one-time RHOC star has been keeping busy planning her wedding to Slade Smiley.
"We keep changing the date like 28 times. It's so bad," she tells Us Weekly. "You know what, honestly, every single time we start planning and thinking that we're going to make it happen, something comes up or somebody can't make it in the family or just something... It's so funny because at this point, I'm like, screw it. We're just going to like go elope. Because like every time we have a plan or have something, it always is like getting messed up. And we feel like we've been married because we've been together for six years. So eventually, one day, we'll get married."
