Heather Dubrow Speculates "Things at Home Are Worse" Between Gina and Travis

The RHOC cast member feels Gina Kirschenheiter has "changed" as she navigates a hard time with Travis Mullen.

By Sophie Vilensky

It's no secret that Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen's relationship is in a tough place. Fans have seen it — and heard Gina speak about it it — during Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Still, Heather Dubrow has a feeling that the situation hits deeper than Gina is letting on with her loved ones.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

After Heather walked in right after a heated conversation between Gina and Emily Simpson in Episode 7 of the season (they got in a fight during a pickleball game and the tension was still palpable), she shared some insight into what she's been seeing with her friend.

"I don't understand Gina. She's coming after me, she's fighting with Emily. I don't know this Gina. This isn't a person I recognize. She has changed," said Heather. "Maybe things at home are worse than she's letting on."

Gina Kirschenheiter's boyfriend Travis Mullen moved out of their house

Throughout Season 18, Gina has dealt with the fallout from her decision to have longtime boyfriend Travis and his children move out of their shared house

“I think it just goes from us being one single family unit to more of like, adult dating," Travis told Gina in Episode 3. "It seems like all you’re talking about is how to undo the decision that you made. It’s really confusing to me.”

Gina Kirschenheiter opened up about her relationship issues

In a confessional earlier in Episode 7, Gina had shared just how much her relationship issues were affecting her life and extended friendships.

"My relationship is so frazzled right now," she said. "And it makes me fearful that the same thing could happen to me and Emily. There's only so much I can take."

Later, Tamra Judge stopped over to take a peek at Gina's house construction. While showing her around and talking through the new rooming situation with Travis and his kids gone, Gina explained more in yet another interview.

"When Travis moved out, I chose to do the construction because I was just focused on a fresh start. But for Travis, it feels like I'm erasing everything that once was," she said.

Are Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen Still Together?

Yes. Despite all the drama, Gina and Travis seem to have made it through the situation stronger than ever. Recently, the pair celebrated their five year anniversary.

“Happy anniversary,” Gina wrote in the August 16 Reel, which included heartwarming moments from their romance. “I love you [Travis]... 5 years of life with you … 5 years of beautiful moments, 5 years of incredible memories, 5 years of laughter and smiles, 5 years of watching our children grow together, 5 years of loving you and everything that comes with you.”
