Heather Dubrow Says Her Birthday Was “Almost Perfect,” But It Was Missing *This*

Though she's known as "Fancy Pants," Heather Dubrow just kept things "casual" for her birthday.
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member celebrated her special day on January 5, and she took to Instagram to share how exactly she spent the memorable occasion.
She also revealed the gift she asked her kids to get her, but didn't receive. Read on for details.
Heather Dubrow Reflects on Her Life in Honor of Her 55th Birthday
The mom of four, who shares kids Max, Nicholas, Kat, and Ace with husband Dr. Terry Dubrow, put up a photo of her wearing a black off-the-shoulder Givenchy dress while posing with an espresso martini to ring in her birthday on January 5.
"It’s my BIRTHDAY!!!! 55! Woke up today feeling grateful, happier[,] and more aligned than ever," the RHOC cast member shared. "This year I’m leaning in to all of the things that bring me JOY. CHEERS to being one year older [and] one year BOLDER."
Heather's RHOC castmate, Tamra Judge, sent along a birthday message in the comments.
"Happy Birthday FancyPants," she wrote. "I love you and [I'm] wishing you all the love and happiness."
Heather Dubrow Reveals Why Her Birthday Was "Almost" Perfect
A few days after her actual birthday, Heather took to Instagram once again to post a carousel of images. In the photos, Heather is wearing a faux fur jacket and Fendi earrings, and she's blowing out the candle on a vanilla cupcake.
"And just like that… my birthday weekend is officially OVER !" she began in the caption of her post.
For her birthday, Heather "Kept it casual [and] lowkey" by getting "dinner with [her] kids and Terry." She noted that she "loved every minute of it," though she was slightly disappointed to not have gotten one of the gifts that she asked for.
"Although — I asked the kids to get me a JC Penny photoshoot of them [(if you know you know)] and they DIDN’T !" Heather jokingly lamented in another part of her caption. "So it was an *ALMOST* perfect birthday. Maybe if enough people told them to do it in the comments it would be enough to force them into it…."
After kidding around about the photoshoot, Heather took to her Instagram Stories to share that she was "Very happy with this year's birthday, [and] very excited for this year!!!"
