Kanye West Is Skipping the Grammys for a Really Good Reason

Don't expect any onstage antics at the Grammys this year: Kanye West won't be making it to the big show.
After rumors that Kanye would be one of multiple artists — including Drake and Justin Bieber — to boycott the show, his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, confirmed that the Grammy-nominated rapper is instead in the Big Apple focused on his upcoming Yeezy show set for Wednesday, February 15 during New York Fashion Week.
“The truth is he’s got a big fashion show in New York because it’s New York Fashion Week. And my entire family is back there… Some of the kids are on their way tomorrow," Kris shared with E! News, via PEOPLE. “He’s got a lot of work to do. We wish he could be here!”
Despite not being in attendance, Yeezy is up for a handful of awards including Best Rap/Sung Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Album for The Life of Pablo. Here's to hoping he makes an appearance on Twitter!
