Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Feels "So Inspired" By Porsha Williams
The Shahs of Sunset mama praised Porsha for her social justice work.
Porsha Williams has spent most of the past few months advocating for the Black Lives Matter movement. From protesting on behalf of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky to educating herself on social change and justice, The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member has been clearly following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Civil Rights leader Rev. Hosea Williams. Her activism is inspiring to many, including Shahs of Sunset cast member Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, who recently praised Porsha for all of her work.
In an August 10 Instagram post, GG shared a screenshot of a feature the New York Times published about Porsha detailing her work against police violence.
“WOW! So proud of this woman right here!! @Porsha4real I keep telling you and I’m gonna say it again...THANK YOU for all that you’re doing,” wrote GG. “I’m so inspired!”
Porsha commented in response to GG’s kind message, writing, “Love ya thank you.”
GG has previously noted that she is already raising her son, Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi, with strong values. The new mom shared a photo of her baby boy wearing a onesie that says “little activist,” captioning the shot, “Baby Elijah is already taking after his mommy lol! We will ALWAYS stand for the right cause, my son. Equality. Justice. Peace. Love. Humanity.”
GG is among many Bravolebs who have shown support for Porsha lately. When Porsha shared the New York Times article on her page, comments came pouring in, including from RHOA friend Tanya Sam who wrote, “I am clapping and tearing and shouting at the top of my lungs for you! Bravo sister,” and Married to Medicine cast member Toya Bush-Harris, who added, “Love IT. You deserve it Sister.” Erika Girardi of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills chimed in with, “Incredible!” while Andy Cohen added, “CONGRATULATIONS!”
Porsha opened up about what the recognition meant to her in the caption, writing, “The freaking NYT!! Thank you so much for this incredible profile piece in the Style section!!! This is more meaningful to me than anyone will ever know. I hope my grandfather is proud because I’m walking in my purpose! I want a better world for my PJ! I’m thanking God for my journey and I’m grateful for your blessings every day. Sending love to all and just know we SHALL OVERCOME!”
