Sonja Morgan Spills All of the Secrets Behind Her Lavish Big Apple Mansion

The Real Housewives of New York City viewers have seen plenty of Sonja Morgan relaxing in her luxe Upper East Side mansion during her tenure on the show, and now the Manhattan party girl is spilling all of the secrets about her beloved home. The 4,500-square-foot pad has five floors, which include five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. Oh, yeah, it also has a hidden elevator. "Everyone likes to see the elevator," she told Entertainment Tonight during a recent house tour.

She also has a glam living room, where she has hosted everything from board meetings to cocktail parties. Right off the multi-purpose space is her outdoor garden, which she noted is "what I really need. Living in New York and spending a lot of time here since my divorce, that's been a godsend.”

Once you get past the first floor, there's plenty more to see, including her master suite, which takes up the home's entire third floor. She even has a closet in which she keeps her Birkin bags (sound familiar, Kris Jenner?). Sonja revealed that her shoes are some of the home's priciest possessions (her estimate is around $10-12,000).

If you were hoping to get your hands on the pad, think again. "It's the best zip code in the universe," she said. "So why would I sell right now with the markets the way it is? But with my daughter away [at boarding school] I'd really like to have less. A duplex with a garden would be manageable. I'm very emotionally attached to the history I have here because I decorated everything myself and my daughter was born here. So, it's a big decision at this age and a lot of moms go through this when kids go off to school. Do you want to scale down? It's hard. It's really hard."
