Go Inside Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen's "Dazzling" Date Night
The RHOC couple attended a star-studded fundraising gala alongside Heather Dubrow and Alexis Bellino.
Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen stepped out for a great cause.
On Saturday, September 28, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple traveled to Los Angeles to attend LA Impact, a fundraising gala hosted by the LGBTQI+ advocacy group Family Equality. Gina shared a peek at the event in an October 5 Instagram Reel, which included photos of her and her boyfriend dressed to the nines as they enjoyed an evening of touching stories and powerful performances.
“What a night!” she captioned the post. “[Family Equality] is doing big things and I’m here for it! [LA Impact] was a dazzling evening filled with story-telling, advocacy, and community building! They raised more than $400k for LGBTQ+ families!! It was a pleasure to be a part of it!!”

The event included appearances by Jinkx Monsoon, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy alum Jai Rodriguez, and 2024 honorees Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and his husband, producer Justin Mikita. RHOC’s Alexis Bellino and Heather Dubrow were also in attendance, as shown in Gina’s Instagram Reel.
Heather started the evening with a heartfelt toast, saying she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, would match the first $50,000 raised that night.
“I have a vision of the future where every child, every family, can shine as brightly as they deserve,” Heather said, per a Family Equality press release. “No child should be left out because of who their parents are, how they identify themselves, or who they choose to love… Terry and I have proudly supported their [Family Equality] life-changing work for over a decade, and our family is truly grateful to each of you for being here tonight to help ensure this important work continues.”
Gina and Travis change their living situation
The event occurred less than a year after Gina asked Travis to move out of their Orange County townhouse. Gina explained her decision in the RHOC Season 18 premiere, saying their respective children had simply outgrown the home.
“Now, they need space. They need privacy,” Gina said about their blended family of six kids. “We went and we looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can’t afford it. Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land.”
Gina reveals if she and Travis are still working together
Despite living under different roofs, Gina and Travis appear to be going strong. In addition to regular date nights and family get-togethers, the lovebirds have continued working together in real estate; and it seems they're having great success. On Tuesday, October 8, Gina took to Instagram to celebrate her and Travis' latest home deal.
"Went from closing out the latest season of [RHOC] to closing out our latest transaction!" she captioned the post. "Thrilled for our clients!"
Gina shed more light on her relationship during a July appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, insisting she and her boyfriend were doing “really good.”
“You know, we had a bad year and we’re still not through all of it,” she admitted. “But I think we’re handling it well.”
